As we approach the end of 2023, we at Sourcing Champions are delighted to reflect on a year filled with significant achievements, growth, and exciting new ventures. It’s been a journey marked by dedication, collaboration, and a shared passion for procurement excellence.
The year started with a refreshing change of scenery as we relocated to a workspace that better suits our commitment to innovation and collaboration. Our new office has transformed into a creative hub, equipped with a sparkling barista coffee machine, fueling our days with exceptional espressos and stimulating ideas.
In 2023 we further extended our footprint within the pharmaceutical and FMCG sectors. We executed substantial Strategy and S2C projects, demonstrating our expertise in boosting procurement processes and maximizing value. Additionally, we successfully implemented digital tools on an international scale, ensuring seamless and efficient procurement operations across different regions and industries.
We furthered our digitalization efforts and proudly welcomed new partnerships with best-of-breed industry leaders Promena and Sphera, along with best-of-suite leader Ivalua. These collaborations fortify our capabilities, ensuring top-notch solutions for our clients. Existing partnerships with Cirtuo, Valuedesk, and Ignite thrived, providing a robust foundation for mutual success. Additionally, attending this year’s editions of ProcureCon and DPW reminded us that digital transformation involves people, processes, and culture, not just technology.
Sustainability is at the core of our values. This year we took the initiative to organize the inaugural Procurement Climate Council, a collaborative event with Valuedesk. This event generated the Net Zero market study and a whitepaper that laid the foundation for a roadmap outlining procurement’s steps on their Net Zero Journey. We are thrilled to announce that the Procurement Climate Council will return in June 2024, providing a platform for furthering our sustainability initiatives.
Our global reach extended to every continent this year, reflecting our commitment to being a truly international player. We connected with clients worldwide, dedicating ourselves to seamless global project success. This global presence has enabled us to tailor our solutions to the unique needs of our clients, ensuring that they receive the highest level of expertise and support.
Our procurement transformation program, now enhanced with the addition of risk assessment to the 15M Maturity Assessment, offers a comprehensive approach to optimizing procurement processes and maximizing value for our clients. This modular method, developed by Prof. Dr. Gerhard Hess of Nuremberg Technical University, enables us to tailor solutions to each client’s specific requirements, ensuring that they receive a tailored approach that aligns with their unique goals.
As we embark on the new year, our focus remains unwavering on strategic transformations and sustainability. We are excited to embark on a year filled with ongoing digital implementations, team growth, and expanded reach.
